Star and Garter

The Royal Star and Garter Home, for elderly people with connections to the Army, Navy and Air Force, is situated on Richmond Hill.

Chaplain: 

Regular services are held in the Home on Sunday mornings at 10.30am, conducted by all major denominations.  Methodists are usually responsible for the second and fourth Sundays of each month.  There are also weekday services of Holy Communion in various traditions.

The Home is currently in proces of finding a site for relocation, and the number of residents has been reduced to about 65.
